A short introduction, and what I'll write here: whatever happens to interest me.
Hi, I’m Mochamad Aufa.
I’m a programmer, and the technical side has been comfortable ground for a long time — architecture, backend, frontend, and the server it all runs on. But if you ask what I’m actually chasing, it isn’t there. What pulls my attention is the product and business side of the things I build: who it’s for, why it ended up shaped the way it did, and whether the people using it are genuinely better off or just quietly putting up with it.
So security and user experience come first for me. Good code matters, but good code that’s unpleasant to use is still wasted.
Outside work I follow investing, mostly stocks, and I like reading about geopolitics. Both come down to people making decisions without complete information, and that’s the part I enjoy.
This blog is whatever happens to interest me. Sometimes what I’m building and why it turned out the way it did, sometimes something else I’ve been turning over. I write when there’s something I actually want to write, not to a schedule.
